About Us
Feed the Microbes, Feed the soil, then feed the plants.
About Us
The Troforté Farming System has been conceived and manufactured in Australia following 20+ years of significant research and development in the fields of soil microbiology, plant physiology, agronomy and chemical engineering.
The research findings have been used to develop a soil and plant nutritional system purposely designed to optimise soil health and plant productivity – while increasing soil Carbon.
This has been achieved through the development of Troforté’s Controlled Release Fertilizers (CRF) technologies - using:
Controlled release Nitrogen technology combined with balanced proportions of non-water soluble forms of Phosphorus, Potassium, trace elements and essential minerals.
Plant uptake of these nutrients is facilitated through the action of the customised multi-strain blend of beneficial microbe technologies – part of the biological component of the Troforté Farming System.
These new generation bio-fertilizer and biological products are key inputs to this high performance nutritional system - designed specifically to meet plant and soil health requirements, optimise nutrient and water use efficiency, grow soil Carbon and minimise the risk of environmental loss whilst maximising profitability.

Paul is the director of Research and Development. Paul is a Senior Consultant Soil Microbiologist and Crop Scientist, Agricultural and Environmental Advisor, Rehabilitation Specialist and Educator.
Paul has more than 40 years’ research, publications and field experience studying the link between soil biology and mineral nutrition in plants and animals. Paul has been instrumental in helping investigate, develop and commercialise the mineral/microbe farming system and Regenerative programs and technologies for application in the cropping, pasture, livestock, horticulture, turf and rehabilitation industries.
Paul is passionate about innovation and the new paradigm 'beyond sustainability' and 'repurposing' in Regenerative Agriculture, land reclamation, increasing Carbon sequestration and GHG emissions reduction. He continues to assist farmers with practical ways to enhance production, profitability and ultimately to increase farm economic and environmental sustainability.

Rob is the Senior Field Advisor and Customer Support Manager.
Rob is Fertcare accredited and has been involved in the agricultural industry for 50 years. Rob has an expert knowledge of broadacre farming with several years working in the Carbon marketing industry evaluating and mapping suitable farmland.
Rob’s passion is summarised below :
“We can make a huge difference to the food supply chain by using cutting edge sustainable agricultural technologies. The Troforte Farming System offers the opportunity to capitalise and focus on growing economically sustainable Clean Food”.
“Our approach and technologies help create resilience, mitigate risk with improved results, not only in yield potential, but in better quality products.”
“In addition, other benefits we seriously consider include remediation of degraded soils, increases in soil nutrient status and carbon building, improvements in water infiltration and water holding capacity, more effective use of fertilizer, and the multiplier effect on beneficial biological activity.”
“Not only will this help bring long-term farming success, but it will also mean better returns for the money you spend because soils are your best asset.”
